Superstars or Superheroes?

Ever wonder if your favorite athletes were superheroes what their persona would be? While Clinton Portis may have been the only player in the NFL who actually dressed up, I like to think there were other superheroes who played football. I fantasize about things like Calvin Johnson pulling a Mr. Fantastic to catch a ball, or Vince Wilfork absorbing lineman and ball carriers like The Blob quite often. I figured I’d share some of them with you all.

The Stock Exchange

The NFL Draft marks the beginning of a new season for football. Team’s have a clearer picture of what their rosters will look like heading into the summer. For fantasy players, now is the time to really do your homework. Start to make your own rankings,  think of guys you’d like to target, or guys who may fly under the radar. Now is the best time to think about it simply before all of the “experts” start the hype train (I’m still bitter about you Ryan Mathews). With that, here is my first fantasy stock report based on free agency, roster moves, and the first two days of the draft.

Joe’s Ultimate Offense

With the draft less than a week away, teams across the NFL are finalizing their draft boards and preparing what-if scenarios. This is usually when the action cools off a bit. I figured I can use this otherwise dull period to post my NFL dream team based on personnel and scheme. I’ll break this up into two segments; one focusing on offense and the other on defense. Let’s start with the offense.
